Infinity by Marvin
A New Chapter for Geske Home Improvement: Why We Chose Infinity by Marvin
For more than 50 years, Geske Home Improvement has been built around a pretty simple idea: take care of people, do quality work, and make decisions with the long term in mind.
That philosophy has carried our family business through three generations, changing products, changing markets, and a lot of growth. And today, it is also the reason we are excited to announce the next chapter for Geske Home Improvement: our alignment with Infinity by Marvin for replacement windows and patio doors.
This was not a decision we made because we were looking for change for the sake of change.
It was a decision about where we want Geske Home Improvement to be five, ten, twenty years from now — and what kind of company we want to remain along the way.
Protecting What Makes Geske, Geske
As Geske has grown, one thing has become increasingly important to us: maintaining our identity as a local, family-owned company.
Our name is on the trucks.
Our people answer the phones.
Our crews work in your homes.
And when something goes wrong, our customers know exactly who they can call.
That accountability has been part of this company since 1974, and we never want to lose it.
As we considered the future, we wanted a window partner that would allow Geske Home Improvement to continue being exactly that — Geske Home Improvement — while giving us the product, support, and opportunity to grow into new communities.
Infinity by Marvin gave us that combination.
Why Infinity by Marvin?
There are plenty of window manufacturers in the marketplace. We were not interested in simply finding another window to sell.
We wanted a product and a company we could confidently build the next generation of Geske around.
Infinity stood out for several reasons.
First is the product itself. Infinity replacement windows are made with Ultrex fiberglass, a strong, stable material designed to perform in demanding climates like ours. That matters when your windows need to handle Minnesota and South Dakota summers, winters, wind, temperature swings, and everything in between.
But the product was only part of the decision.
The deeper reason was alignment.
Marvin is a family-owned company with more than a century of history. Geske Home Improvement is a third-generation family business that has been serving this region since 1974.
Both companies understand that reputation is built over decades, not transactions.
Both companies believe craftsmanship still matters.
Both companies care about the people behind the product.
And both companies are thinking beyond the next sale.
That cultural fit mattered tremendously to us.
A Better Fit for How We Want to Serve Customers
Our approach has never been about sitting at a kitchen table for hours or pressuring someone into making a decision that night.
We want to understand the home, understand what the homeowner is trying to accomplish, explain the options clearly, and let them make an informed decision.
That is how we believe home improvement should work.
Our partnership with Infinity by Marvin allows us to keep that process local.
You are still working with the Geske team from beginning to end — from the first phone call and consultation to measuring, installation, service, and everything that follows.
The product behind us is changing.
The people standing behind the work are not.
What This Means for Existing Geske Customers
For customers who already have a project underway with us, our commitment to you has not changed.
Existing projects will continue to be handled according to the products, specifications, warranties, and agreements originally purchased.
Our crews are still installing your project.
Our team is still supporting you.
And Geske Home Improvement is still the company responsible for delivering the experience you were promised.
We take that responsibility seriously.
What This Means Going Forward
The transition to Infinity by Marvin gives us something we have wanted for a long time: the ability to grow without giving up the things that made our company successful in the first place.
We can bring Geske Home Improvement into more communities.
We can continue investing in our people and installation teams.
We can offer homeowners a premium fiberglass replacement window backed by the Marvin name.
And we can do all of it while remaining an independent, locally owned company.
That last part is important.
We believe homeowners deserve another option — one that combines a nationally respected product with a local company that will still be here to answer the phone years after the installation is complete.
The Next 50 Years
When my grandfather started Geske Home Improvement in 1974, I doubt he knew exactly what the company would look like more than five decades later.
Products change.
Technology changes.
Markets change.
But the fundamentals really do not.
Treat people well.
Do what you say you are going to do.
Stand behind your work.
And make decisions that leave the company stronger for the next generation.
Our move to Infinity by Marvin is one of those decisions.
We are incredibly proud of where Geske Home Improvement has been, but we are even more excited about where we are going.
To our longtime customers, thank you for helping build this company.
To those meeting Geske for the first time, we look forward to earning your trust.
This is a new chapter for Geske Home Improvement — and we are just getting started.
